Any trad members in the pan handle area?

I'm about 225 miles from it, but it is gonna be a cold weekend if you are hunting there this weekend, and icy too they say!

Spent 14 years in the panhandle but now live in Custer City.

Gordon Jabben

Met a traditional hunter at McAlester who was from Boise City and was a state trooper.  Seemed like someone you would like to hunt with but can't remember his name but with a little checking, you could find out who it was.

I hope someone comes along soon.  I was born in Guymon but now live in the central part of the state.

I am in Hooker and hunt south of there along the river. I trade with Tom Clum AR RMS Gear quite a bit. I have 4 Wapiti Bows and love them. Hunt Elk at Ft. Sill with whitetail and mules back home. Live on the wrong side of TX Co to hunt antelope even though they are across the road from me a lot of times.

Preston Lay

Gordon that is Tracy Brown a very good friend and hunter. He killed a bc mule deer and antelope this fall on his property with a bow.

Thanks too ALL!

I was looking into hunting in the panhandle area for deer, I here most of the private land is leased and the two WMA areas lost most of there deer to drought, still doing my home work for next yr.

Thanks

There are fewer deer this year but not quite sure it was entirely due to the drought. There seems to be an infection of some kind also. I live a mile behind one of the WMA's and hunt private ground. It is not all leased up. I hunt mostly off the river and spot and stalk whitetail and mule deer in pasture and crop fields. It is more difficult but I tend to see more deer than most because I live in the area and know where to look. Where are you in central CO? My uncle has a place south of Hayden bordering on the Cross Timbers Ranch by Dunkley Pass. If you need more info just contact me.
