Would the bison gear haversack be useful for lashing to my treestand n be nice for hanging on a hook with me up in the tree?

I like that it has other compartments n And don't have the back packing straps. Also would be nice for when I just hunt from the ground. Just any overall Experience with this pack?  Don't see it mentioned very often. The Asbell  haversack is nice but I like the extra pockets and hand grip that I could use to hang from a hook while in my stand.  Thanks

I have both packs you refer to. They are both good but the Bison Gear screams quality. The extra compartments, the built in straps, the padded shoulder strap, the quality zippers, and the boxlike configuration of the main compartment...everything about it makes it my favourite.

Ditto what Manitoba said.

Thank you. Do they have other colors?
On there web they have packs in some colors that are not listed as color choices.

I use mine exactly like you are talking about.  It is quality built and well laid out.  I also use mine for turkey hunting.  As far as colors go I would give them a call.  Mine is Advantage camo.  Let me know if you want pictures.

Mine is the plaid pattern. I put out a wanted ad here on TG and had one within days!

I just bought something called a LEACH by gameplan. It is made to strap to treestands. Goes on rock solid and easily let's you get at gear in the tree. Even has a hidden strap to strap it to a tree. First year with it and love it

I love mine. It's not too big to encourage you to bring more crap than you need. But big enough for a days gear. They're made to order so I imagine all their colors are an option.

maxwell

I have a green army wool one coming any day-  I don't believe the color was listed I just called and they gave some options.

I love my Bison Gear haversack. Great quality. Have used mine a lot this season. I really prefer the zippers and the quality construction of Bison Gear over their competition but you pay for what you get.

I don't see it on their website. Any pics?

I have one made of hemp, it is really, really nice..  Looks like very tightly woven burlap.

Great piece of gear--excellent quality.
