Do any of you have tips or internet licks showing how to tie good string nocks?

Here you go Dennis. Something on this Youtube page may help you. String nocks are the way to go!! I recently made the switch and will never go back to brass nocks!

That seems simple enough.  Definitely cheaper than the brass nocks.

I have been tying my nocks since I started shooting traditional bows about 20 years now.It just looked more traditional to me and didn't really require any tools to do them.

If you are into tying flies then you already know the whip fishing.  If not, it is easy to learn and a quick google search would yield plenty of results.  I cut about 20" of of dental floss, wrap the floss around the string about 6-8 wraps, tie two whip finish knots with 5 wraps each, and then a drop of krazy glue.  My gloves don't get cut this way.

I tie my own flies and whip finish them, but I'm not sure how you do this on a tight bow string.  Please enlighten me.

Same here Bud, just picked it up a few weeks ago and switching over completely. Very easy!

I use heavy waxed linen thread from my days as a carpet layer and just make a clove hitch on either side of the nock, trim off the ends and coat with super glue. Easy, light, simple and effective.

Here is an easy one to tie   http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1YlYqDiJN8U  It is the whip tie adjustable nocking point.

In order to "whip finish" a nock point on the string with dental floss the bow needs to be strung.  With about 20" of floss, wrap it over itself 6-8 times, then take and cut about a 10" piece of the floss and fold it in half.  Wrap the initial piece of floss around your new folded piece.  Leave about 1" of the folded piece exposed on one side of your wraps.  After you have wrapped atleast five wraps around the string and the folded piece of floss, thread the loose end of your main floss through the 1" loop of the folded floss. Do that atleast two times, add your super glue and you'll have a nock that will not cut your face or your tab/glove or the life of the string.  I apologize for the poor instruction but it is the best I can do.
