I just purchased a 56" RER Vortex, one piece,longbow from Masham Man on the new classifieds.
Although I never had a bad experience on the old classifieds, this transaction went unbelievably smooth.
The bow arrived, well packaged, in great shape, and looked exactly as was described.
I just need to get a string and start shooting it.
This fellow from OK is a great guy to deal with and his ethics are flawless. He told me the whole truth about the bow, shipped it as promised and even offered to return some money for the missing string.
I hope everyone has as good a bow purchase as I did.

I never had a problem with the old ones, and traded and bought/sold thousands of $ worth of gear, but hey whatever it takes to keep it classy!  TG was and is the best forum and classifieds on the 'trad web' and it still is.  Nowhere else has the bow/ gear selection that we have here.  I will say that sales seem to have stalled out due to hunting season but will no doubt pick up first of the year.

But again, the classifieds are a tiny part of what this place is all about.  

Keep it honest and honorable folks.

I was also able to order a string from Lefties R Us, thanks to the good people here at tradgang.
So I'll be shooting it by the first of the week.
I couldn't agree more that this is a fine fraternity of good folks.
I've learned so much about archery related subjects here, and the willingness to help one another is top notch.
Great place to hang out.

Working great for me too, I stopped buying and selling, saving my money and building a selfbow when I get the urge for a new bow.

I never had a problem either. Sure is a lot more bows and archery stuff on stickbow for sale.

Just because some didn't have problems doesn't mean there weren't any(most have no CLUE!!!)....there were plenty let me tell ya....growing worse by the year. I can't tell you what a relief it is for me and Rob not to have to arbitrate not ONCE since the new classifieds have been incorporated.  Not to mention the 'folks' that don't have problems anymore!!!!!

We will continue to look out for the membership of this site from crooks, scammers, and Sponsor cheaters, and freeloaders.
