Dang! That is one sharp looking short bow. I'm too long in the arms for such a short bow, but wow...I'm drooling.

I used to enjoy shooting some older bows that I called long curves.

Like your model they had a longbow style handle and the curves had a long sweeping look to them.

They were really smooth drawing and had the feel of a longbow except for the hand-shock I got with the 1st longbows I tried.( for years I wouldn't pick up a longbow, I had too many memories of how much they had hurt me...lol)

I eventually decided to try the longbow again but I did a lot of research before I did.

It was the memories of just how much I enjoyed shooting this style of bow that eventually led me to the Hills and American longbow styles that I shoot today.

I need a bow to take me to "Sherwood" when I put my hand to it! (I am just a true archery romantic)..lol

PS: Brian keep me posted if you end up with one as I'll want a review and your thoughts.

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

I Love the look of the bow. It probably shoots as good as it looks!!!

For those of you who have never interacted with Mike, he is truly one of the gentlemen in the bowyer community.  He has a no "BS" guarantee on his products and they are truly great bows.

I jsut ordered one for my son.  It will be small enough for him to handle right now and should be versitle enough for him to use for years to come!

Looks a LOT like my Mahaska recurve. 50s style 'curves are just plain sweet looking. My heart jumps a little at each and every one.

Man that is a SHARP lookin' bow, I like it.  Dang, so many bows so little time and money...must resist!!  :help:

Sorry Wannabe1 and Iohkus, you'll have to wait a few months until I can get the 58" 60" curve ready.  I wanted to get the 54" out there while it was still warm enough to canoe (in the south).  I'll post again when it's ready.

Need to see some full draw pics with arrow. But it looks really sweet.

bretto & Gator 1, sorry I didn't see your posts right off the bat.

This bow draws smooth, less than 3#/" all the way out to 29" and only 3#/" from 29 to 30 inches.  It does get a little draw hand pinchy from 29" to 30".

I would consider 29" the max for comfortable drawing.  If you draw 30" or more I'll have the 58" to 60" curve out after Christmas.

way to go Mike!  looks like a hit for sure...
