Spent every chance I had this weekend out in the woods. witnessed three chasing sequences. All small bucks doing the pushing. Largest I saw were three 120" ers. The special time is very close if not happening now.

So that's what a deer looks like.  Man, I have hunted in SE Texas for 6 weeks and haven't seen the first deer.  Thanks for posting.  Best of luck.

You seem to be confused.  You called 120"ers small.       In north La, 120" is what you get on a nice 4-5 year old if you're lucky.  Of course I hunt in some pretty nutrient poor sand hills.  Folks along the river bottoms do a little better.  Nice pictures and good luck over the next couple of weeks.  Thanks for sharing.

Awesome  photos TJ!!!!!  I'm witnessing the same thing here. Today was the first day in a week I didn't see any chasing.  A lone mature deer cruising was my only sighting today.

That's cool TJ! Like rastaman said, I hope you get a crack at that bruiser you posted the pic of the other day!

Things are getting cranked up in southern WV as well.  Yesterday morning I saw about a 130" 8-pointer cruising and right at dark had a little 5-pointer harassing a mature doe.  Wish I could have about a week off from work!

Thanks TJ
I hope to hit the woods often this week, here's hoping!
