A while back I was gifted a hat from Adkmountainken. I never used it, don't know why. This year I took it to Missouri on my deer hunt....saw some deer and had it on when I missed a legal AR deer. Had it on the other day while I center punched a hickory sapling in front of a does vitals.....never saw the tree...lol! Now many of you know how often I see deer, let alone get a shot. This morning I did a 3 1/2 hour sit and saw doe and her yearling, then a nice 4 point that was come'n nicely but changed his mind. I had the same hat on. That hat belonged to Chris Surtees......I think I'll wear it all the time!!

its a pretty special hat and i wear one often to, it was Chris Surtees hat. i have had a bit of luck wearing one too during other season.

Good post Ron ... it's good to keep guys like Chris in our minds, I have one of his arrows and a hat in my man cave from a Solana hunt.

The amazing thing is that it fits me.....lol! I also like the Winona camo.....neat stuff.
