I have a Thunderhorn strap on quiver with a leather hood. Is there anything I should apply to it like neetsfoot oil or mink oil, or should I just leave it be? I got it fairly wet in a downpour on a hunt the other day.

I wouldn't put any kind of oil on it,you don't want to "soften" it.

I had a Selway rawhide quiver that got REALLY wet a few years ago... Looked like a soggy dog's chew!!! After that, I've used beeswax on my rawhide hoods. Rub some on,warm it with a hair dryer, Then rub it in with your fingers.
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...
