Hey gang,

I've been trying to call/email the Asbells for some time now.
They must be out and about.

I'm wondering if their garments are 100% wool or a blend.
I've always assumed it was 100% but after looking at the site I don't see "100%" on the site.
I know their stuff is good...never heard a bad word about them or their products.

Just curious if anyone knows the answer for sure.

Thanks!

Zradix - Teresa and Fred are on a hunt. They will return in a week or so.

I don't know the answer to your question. I always assumed that it had a small percentage of nylon woven in, most wool does. Teresa will answer when she gets back.

I think you also asked for some non enhanced pictures of the green wool? Check out the "Off To Shrew Haven" thread.

Thanks for your interest.

For anyone else trying to get in contact with Teresa....understand that this is a small, home-based business. This is also November, when most of us are hunting as much as we can. Fred and Teresa are no different. I know in this age of the internet, we all get used to 24/7 Customer Service  support. Teresa and Fred do the best they can to support us all.....but when they take time off, that's it.....no big corporate structure to fill in behind them.

I totally understand them being gone.
Sure I wish they were there, but hey we're all hunters and it's that time of year.

Thanks for the heads up on the thread Roger.
I appreciate the pic you posted of your green "special" coat..anorondak? I believe. That design looks pretty cool!

Have a good one!

Wishing them luck.  G Fred is a very personaable guy and so very helpful.
I too believe most garment wools have a little extra something in them for holding shape or some such.  I have lots of wool I wear all winter and love it.

We had a cold front move though last night. 39 degrees here in this part of Texas. I know that's like a heat wave to some folks up in Michigan. Nevertheless, I wearing my zipper Little Delta plaid over a cotton long sleeve T-shirt this morning and I'm warm as toast.

I recently bought two of the green wool pullover Anoraks with the added fleeced front handwarmer pocket, 1/4 zip neck, and drawcord bottom hem. (One will be a gift)
Very nice product and very warm. Not sure if it is 100% but it matters not to me. It's a quality product. Follow Teresa's washing instructions and you should be fine.
I recently asked Roger if they could line the wrist and neck areas with some light fleece or something for those who might be allergic and itch a little. He thought it was a good idea and will look into it.
