Just a quick question.

My Toelke whip came with the recommendation to use a brace of between 7 1/4, and 7 7/8

Ive been adjusting brace height and playing round with a chronograph. There is no discernible difference in speed at either end. also seems to be no change in accuracy for me.

is there any other advantage i should be looking for from  a higher or lower brace height?

Accuracy. Depending on the arrow recipie you are using, brace height will affect arrow flight. Normally the point where it is the quietest will also give the best flight. This will change from arrow to arrow meaning if you go with a different spine or overall arrow weight you may have to adjust.

Based on your facts, that there is no discernible difference in speed or accuracy, it really should make no difference. However, 5/8" change in brace height should make a difference in speed and accuracy, so you might want to test again after you've shot the bow for a while and see if you get a different result.  In the mean time, I would start with 7 1/4", just because that's what Dan has told me works best on the Whip I bought from him, and I've never had any reason to want to change it.
