I had a nice long talk with Mr, Berry this evening and he will be starting on my "Northstar" tomorrow.

I gave him artistic license to choose the riser wood.

I know I'm looking at a 66" and 46-48@28 bow that is going to me one very happy archer.

You guys may get a little sick of hearing about this bow before all is said and done....lol

I can not remember being this excited over a bow..well since my last one....lol

That's not really true but most of you know just how impressed I was when I got the chance to shoot a shorter version of my build that's starting.

The bow I called the "Bumblebee" was only 62" and I was truly blown away by it's performance.

If I could overcome my self imposed "it has to take me to Sherwood" I might have even consider one that short for myself but me being me.. I have an impossible time of seeing a 62" bow as a longbow. But that's just me...lol

Keep your eyes open for future installments.

Mudd,
Weren't longbows supposed to be man high? If you're only five feet two, that's a perfect height! You really shouldn't be putting short people down like that. You're going to be around me and Cobweb next week. We may need to straighten you out!! Maybe beat your knee caps.      :scared:

Glad to hear your up on the list Mudd!!! I am very imperessee with my Northstar and its 62" length is just so maneuverable and Nimble in the hands.

I am so excited I sent jwhitetail a pm asking if he would post up pictures of the original "Bumblebee"

I may need to stop calling it that...lol

Jerry may have used the name "Bumblebee" on his awesome little "Northstar" but if he didn't I'll latch onto it pretty darn quick and get it on mine...lol

God bless,Mudd

PS: I am thinking that I'll get the chance to hunt with my "Northstar" in the late season here in Missouri.

Thank you Brian!

I'm sure gonna hate to see such a beautiful bow have to take second chair...lol

I think Mr. Berry is going to make mine so there won't be any competition for "Best Looking Bow"...lol

I'm just joking with you my friend and I do so appreciate you posting up pictures so others an see what's got my pulse elevated.

Roy, Roy, Roy. Brian, Brian, Brian. I truly don't enjoy stealing you all's thunder (well, maybe I do a little) so enjoy your moment because when Mr. Berry gets my Morning Star built, both of you will be so blown away that you will be embarrassed to even take your bows from their cases.

So, boast on my friends, 'cause there will come a day of reckoning.       :archer:

Touché Danny,!! But I'm up on the list again for my Christmas to me present so I may just have to slip James an extra white envelope to ensure my bows claim to greatness  :)

Brian, just make certain that extra white envelope contains a couple of photos of Ben or you might still be disappointed.     :D

The amazon lady is quite impressive, I must say.
And Danny, I was hoping a couple pictures of George would have been enough. Ha

Educate me please! The handle is on the belly of the bow right? Are these all the same model/style of bow? I'm a newby to trad, so no offense intended. jim
