My name is Todd Trahan and I live in South Central Louisiana. It is a privilege to be a sponsor on this web site. What Terry, Rob and all the moderators do here has added great enjoyment to the traditional archery part of my life.

Ground hunting and traditional archery both had there start for me on the same morning in 1992. I had an encounter with a forkhorn while standing on the trunk of a fallen oak. I was shooting a compound and I shot under this deer at 8 yards. Only afterwards did I realize that my arrow was sitting at a downward angle  because my nock had slid up 1 1/2"on my string when I drew. That day I decided I LOVED ground hunting and I wanted to shoot a traditional bow.

Since that time I have hunted on many a seat and just never found one that did all that I would have liked a seat to do, so in July of 2012 what started as an idea ended up being a hunting seat - The SPOT 360.

There are 3 facets to every hunt: 1) Packing your seat to your hunting spot, 2) Hunting that spot and 3) The versatility to adapt to different types of hunting situations, terrain, inclines and species of game. Some seats do well in one or two facets of the hunt but I believe the SPOT 360 excels in all facets of ground hunting.

We tested it all last hunting season, Louisiana, Mississippi and Kansas for deer. I gave a prototype to a friend who is a turkey hunting "NUT" this past spring and he like it especially for edge of food plots, field edges and places where there were no trees to lean against and especially for the gobblers that were henned up and took a while to come to the calling. He said sometimes he waits for 3 hours in one spot. Here is a picture of the seat with the short "turkey pedestal" that gets you low to the ground but still lets you swivel 360.

I have really been enjoying mine. I have done some 7+ hour sits in comfort. It is also the quietest seat I have used. Sweet seat!
