QuoteIf you could choose only ONE broadhead to hunt with for the rest of your life for all game animals, what would it be?
What a horrible thought.  Squirrels and woodchucks to deer and elk with just one arrow tip?

I haven't even narrowed down my favorite whitetail broadhead - swinging between Magnus II 125 gr and STOS 130 gr.  Great to have choices - especially since once you settle on a favorite they will discontinue it.  I put a lot of miles on Ribtek 125S heads and can't get them now (for a price I'd agree to ).  That's a head you can put in the dirt chasing a rabbit and touch up with a file in a minute to go after a whitetail later in the day.

I agree with Stumpkiller, I'm still unsure about my Whitetail broadhead!     I like'm all and switch back and forth all the time!  In a 2 blade I have had great sucess with the Ace Standard, Zwickey Delta, and Zwickey Eskimo.  In a 3 blade, Woodsman then Snuffer.  In a 4 blade, Zwickey Eskimo and No Mercy.  But to answer your question, "if I could only use one"......well, let me get back to you later.

I like Snuffers but I think I'm gonna switch to Woodsman Elites and Centaurs next year.  Also a big fan of German Silverflames, still haven't encountered a BH sharper.

Jeff I use the Rada Wheel sharpener and then use a piece of leather to finish them off.

Before this season I would have said zwickey but ive shot three deer so far this year with a simmons interceptor and I am very impressed, two of the three were shot with the same arrow/broadhead and after a little cleaning and sharpening it will be back in the quiver for another.

I used to shoot Simmons exclusively.  After a couple bent tips on treesharks, never on an interceptor.   I switched to single bevel centaurs.  So far have killed 6 deer with them this year and they have performed flawlessly.

My favorites are Simmons Tigersharks and 3 blade VPAs. However this year I'm trying out the new Grizzlys. So far so good!

Yup! 300 grain.

My vote is for the Zwickey Eskimo 125 2 blade. Been around a long time, easy to sharpen and will be available down the road. It is a proven BH.

I have shot them ALL. This year I went with 200 grain VPA's. I will be sticking with them. They ALWAYS spin true. Are silent in flight. Fly great, Easy to sharpen and I feel they are optimal for penetration and cutting surface. Also, like the red color. Downside, the price of course. Oh well, I was lucky enough to pick up a dozen from a guy on archery talk pretty cheap. They should last a LONG time.   BILL
