If you need a head to be very strong, sharp, easy to get sharp, vpa.

Any of the Zwickeys. I have tried a lot of the broadheads out there and they have all worked and put a decent amount of blood on the ground, but for the money a Zwickey simply can't be beat in my opinion. They are as tough as any other heads out there, easy to sharpen and stay sharp. Did I mention they leave good blood trails. All in all I think I would have to go with the Delta 4 blade as it is the best pic for what I am hunting (mainly deer and hogs)

Simmons, don't think I will ever shoot anything else again, except stone for completely different reasons of course.

I really like the way the Simmons 160gr flies from my bow. I haven't put one on meat yet but I am fairly certain they will do their part if I do mine. Of course if folklore is to be believed a near miss from a Simmons will field dress & quarter a deer!   :biglaugh:

Prior to these I was a diehard Magnus user. 160gr 2 blade.

STOS 160's for me.  Snuffers and Zwickeys have worked well for me too.

Deeter

Hmmm.....Well this my first season hunting trad and I have yet to shoot a deer.  I am shooting the Zwickey Eskalites and being I have not yet shot a deer with them I am not sure.  But I guess my choice would be a Zwickey of some sort due to the fact there is a reason they are still in production.

For all game animals I'm likely to hunt, Woodsman Elite or VPA three blade.

For   all  game animals, I'd go with a good two blade.

ACE 160s are good but just cant beat Zwickey Eskamos

Tusker heads are super tough, once you learn to sharpen them they are great heads. I also like Zwickey No Mercy and Simmons Tree Sharks. Great heads that will all do the job !!!

My preference is the Eclipse 145 with or without bleeders followed by the 190 or 160 grain Grizzly's.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I bought some Tusker Concords.  How do I sharpen them?
