My wife who does business with Martin told me that Martin Archery is off the auction block.
She does not know any of the specifics, but to me this is good news.
Anyone heard anything else.

Three Rivers is selling their Martins at $100 off.  A sign of loss of confidence.

Here's the link!! It was bought by Diversis Capitol LLC on October 21st and plan to bring the company back,,,including the Howatt Line!!! Sounds good thus far.

That is good news! I have never owned, or even shot, a Martin bow but I hate to see any archery related business go under.

Best of luck to the new Martin Archery!

This great news. My first bow(almost thirty years ago)was a Martin recurve. Since then I've collected a few (Martins and Howatts)for my use and shared with many a Boy Scout as an introduction to our beloved sport. I wish them the very best and hope to add to my collection soon.

I liked the martins more than the bears, better grips for me but looking forward to this.

Great news, I'd hate to see Martin go under.

Glad to hear this.  The Howatt Hunter is my all time favorite.

X'2!! I have nothing but good experiences with Martin Bows. I am just glad that the people that are buying Martin is keeping the Howatt Line still going. I am anxious to see how or what they do from here on out. Time will tell.

Great news for sure. Let's hope it all works out and they put some people back to work. Now that Bear has successfully resurrected their traditional line, maybe the new group will see the value in continuing the Damon Howatt legacy.

I'd sure like to try one of the newer Gail Martin Signature recurves.

I sure hope it all works out, I would think bringing back the Howatt line would be a win win situation, great bows.

The older Super D's were beautiful bows, performed well and were extremely dependable. Hope they bring those back similar to what Bear did with the '59 Kodiak.

Great news! I would certainly hate to see a name such as Martin moved to the "once was" column.

This is great news!  First trad bow I ever lusted after was a Martin Hunter.  Still haven't picked one up, but it might be time to take another look...

I have always liked Martins and my first new bow purchase was a  Howatt Hunter so I am happy to hear they'll stay around.

Might be a little disappointing for all of our bowyer sponsors on here    :readit:
