I was wondering if most of the Gang like a flat finish ,satin ,or a gloss. I have always liked a Satin finish but I am leaning toward a flat finish. What do you guys and gals think? I'll post a couple pictures of flat finish on bows I just did. Thanks Chad

The Satin is still nice but I'm really liking the flat

Generally I prefer a flat finish, but on some of the older bows I have refinished for myself I have gone with a satin.  Satin is a little dressier I still feel I can take it in the woods if I want to.

Isn't satin finish & flat finish just about the same? For me gloss finish isn't for hunting & thats what my bows are mostly used for.

For hunting I prefer durable and dull. For straight out looks only I prefer. Gloss finish. For hunting keeping the reflection down and keeping the bow protected is the most important about a bows finish.
As a bowyer a lot of times the pretty bow sells. While the dull bow would be a better overall choice for the true hunter.

You can dull the finish with past wax if needed.
Satin, or gloss. Like both.
