This is a copy of the post from 2013 Highlights plus the story.

I've been shooting a bow since I about 6 yrs old. I have taken allot of game with a traditional bow, squirrels, rabits, groundhogs, snakes, frogs, birds, etc. Deer ( doe's and small bucks ), Antelope ( scored 76 5/8 ) Bear from Canada ( close to a 6 footer ). But could never seem to connect on a good wall hanger Whitetail Buck. Until now !! I was trying to drive deer for my grandson during our early two day black powder season, found and area full of rubs and scrapes. Jumped a buck but he went the wrong way. Came back the next day after black powder, and setup and brushed in a blind. Dumped out some pear peelings my wife had bagged up and left. Came back about two days later. Just before 6 PM he showed up. Started eating the pears. After about 15 min of this he finally came around a tree that I had ranged at 22 yds. Managed to get my bow drawn on him and released. He jump string a little but the arrow struck him directly behind the right shoulder and appeared to completely pass through. Got my son-in-law to come over to help me track him. We finally found him in a really dense briar and honeysuckle thicket, about 80 yds from where I shot him. It was so tight in there we drug him back to where I shot him before field dressing. Turned out the arrow did hit right behind the right shoulder but exited in front of the left rear leg. So either the arrow bounced off a rib or he jump string a little and turned his body or a combination of both. Either way he is down and at the taxidermist. Been a longtime coming but it was worth the wait.

Apparently adding a picture in the PowWow site does not work the same as the 2013 Highlights site ... I did the same thing here but it is not showing the picture ......

Congrats on a great buck!

Picture posting is the same. You may have clicked on the wrong link in photobucket!
