I am lookin at purchasing the Cabela's Outfitter's wool parka and bibs.  How do you guys who use wool wash and dry it so it does not shrink up?  As much as wool cost I don't want to spend all that money and shrink it up to the point where it will not fit.  Thanks.

My cheaper wool I've just hand washed in a tub and laid flat to dry, but I've got some Gray Wolf wool and I too am curious as to the best way to wash it.  Because wool is tougher to clean I'm super meticulous about keeping it as scent free as possible, storing it in clear bags when it's not on my back.  Good thing about wool though is that it resists dirt really well, just let it dry and brush off.

I have a set of cabelas wool (not sure if its the outfitter model) but its machine washable. Some of the best wool I have owned.

Hand wash or on gentle cycle..whip it around hard to sling water out, pat it out with dry towels, lay it out on dry towels , block it and let it dry. Do a search on here...lots of info.
