I had a great piece of fiddle back walnut that my father bought as a gunstock blank...I have an r/d longbow made from some of it...I was thinking how nice it would look with that myrtle so great choice for a riser...just shows what nice bows can be made with more local woods

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Tenbrook, those are some real pretty veneers.

IMO; I bet they would look supper sweet too if you hit them with a very light stain to darken them up.

I have some Mytle veneers on my RER. The only thing I wish was different was that they were darker in color.

I have a 3-piece recurve bow with a Zircote riser and Tiger Myrtle limbs, and have been thinking about getting a heavier set of limbs for it in Myrtle Burl...  You are not helping me save any money!  ;)

Beautiful!
