Well, the season has been under way for bout a month now.....and I have been out with a back injury for it, I go back to the Dr. next Monday.....but he already thinks it will be surgery.
On the good side, I have more time for all my T.G. family to take me out with you on your hunting trips! So please keep the stories going!
The wishbone will never replace the backbone.

Hope you have a full recovery! Do what the Drs and therapists say and you will be back at it in no time!

hoping for the best man!  back injuries suck.  I had it last spring, but luckily a chiropractor was all I needed.  hope yours is a speedy recovery.
is it September yet??

I feel your pain. My neuro surgeon put me on some new anti inflammatory and I no joke feel like I've never had back pain in my life. My L5 vertebrae is about 1/4 eroded away too and the disc is bulging out and pushing on the nerves. But the new pill I don't feel like it ever even happened. If that is anything like yours is be happy to let ya know what pill it is.

Best of luck to you, hope it works out.

That stinks! I have degenerative arthritis in my lower back. So far my chiropractor has been able to minimize the pain enough that I can still hunt. Too early for surgery they say, so I'm hoping the chiro can keep me going. Some days I hardly notice it, and some days it puts me down completely. Hope your surgery goes well if you go that route. Do what it takes to get back in the woods, my friend.
