Bud B.

I swapped a Canyon Archery Traditions RD longbow to bow loving man for a Steve Turay Northern Mist Shelton. Gotta say I hated seeing the CAT go, but after shooting this Shelton, I think we're both very pleased with the deal. I'm partial to Hill styles and Barry is partial to bodork's bows (RD). Both are really nice bows.

The swap was seamless.

Have you swapped bows with a fellow tradganger?

Tell us how pleased you are with your swap...

I traded a Kanati for a dryad Orion. I am more than pleased with the trade. Think I want to try out a set of their recurve limbs now!

Traded a biocomposite Scythian bow for a Big River Hill, we're both happy.  In the process of trading a vintage Bear static-tip Kodiak for a Great Northern Traditional longbow.  I'm beginning to think trading is the best way to go.

I traded a Super Shrew Gold for an original Vortex longbow... One of the best moves I've made yet! What good is a bow hung on the wall that's too heavy to draw and shoot all day?... Both of us are very happy!

Years ago, I traded a Martin Hatfield for a Bear Patriot with a member here.  Great trade and all went super easy.

Beyond pleased, Bud!  And if I had to confess to the number of bow swaps I've made here...well lets just say it would be a long thread!  But let me affirm that this swap was seamless and pleasing as have been the many I have been involved in with various other Tradgang members!

I have also bought, sold, and traded many times on Tradgang and have had great experiences. The main thing is communication. Both parties need to talk about what is expected up front and communicate while the transaction is occurring.

Like I said Barry....I got dibs on the CAT if you ever release her from your herd.  ;)

I shot the Shelton before leaving for work this AM. She's loving 52# woodies.

I traded a rifle to a member for a Wes Wallace recurve recently. Not only is he a member but a friend too and since we live close it was done in person. We are both pleased.

I have swapped several times here on TG, only one did I wish I had my bow back and that had nothing to do with the actual swap I just missed that bow later. It's a good way to try other bows with minimal expense and I have enjoyed getting to know some nice TG'ers that way too.

I have done a lot of trading on this site. I have been very fortunate to make some new friends thru deals made here. We are blessed to have such an honorable following here  :)

I've traded, bought, and sold many times on tradgang. Every deal has gone flawlessly and I have yet to be disappointed with anyone on this site. You would be hard pressed to find a better group of people than those on tradgang!!!!!
Thanks to all!

I've done a lot of trading as well - some of it direct trades and some of it rather convoluted 3-way trades. I never felt like I came out on the short end of a deal and I don't think the trading partners did either.

I'm still looking for the magic silver bullet, but think maybe it's time to quit once I get my RER LXR the end of Jan 2014.

I'll need to sell a couple at that point and then it might just be time to learn to shoot what I have   :)
