After I finally got settled. The sweat was pouring off of me. I could believe how hot it was. Anyway I had been there for about an hour and I heard something behind me. Sounded like a heard of buffalo running through the woods. I turned around where I could see and it was 6 does running wide open in a single file line, they went right passed me about 15 yards behind my tree. I got out the binos and I could see that they had stopped about 100 yards down in the woods. Not sure what that was all about but they started feeding right back to me...

As my luck would have they all came back at the same time. Do you know how hard it is to draw with 12 pairs of eyes on you. Finally after about 15 minutes one of the big ones gave me a shot. The arrow went about 2 inches to the right of where I was looking. I heard a big crack as the arrow hit her. Crap I hit the shoulder bone. I could see her slowing down about 50 yards through the wood and then I heard a big crash. She was down. With everything that has happen to me this year(all the bow problems) I was so happy I finally connected. I gave her about 15 minutes and I came down the tree. I will post a few more pictures of the blood trail. Those Tiger Sharks don't play.

Here is the closest thing I have to a hero pic. I was on cloud nine. No matter how many times I do it, it never gets old! I love hunting with traditional gear!
