This is my 1st year using a tab. I wear brown jersey gloves for bug protection and concealment. On the hand that holds the tab, Do you use a glove with the finger cut off or do you keep your hand your pocket??

Best thing to do is experiment and see what works for you. I don't cut the fingers off. If it's cold I stick my right hand in my pocket. I sometimes wear a heavier glove on the left hand for holding the bow. At the moment, it's too warm here to be an issue. Good Luck.
If it's in your way, move it.

I do cut out the fingers on my 3 tab fingers. I try my best to hunt the same way that I have practiced in the off season as much as possible. Heck, I almost always wear my armguard even though I never hit my arm. The armguard is just insurance that my string don't hit my heavy jacket sleeve in colder weather.

When I shot a tab I always wore a glove and slipped the tab over it. In winter I'd wear a jersey then the mitten that have the flip top for finger access. Just make sure to get the ones with a magnet and NOT Velcro.

I cut off the 3 tab fingers of a camo glove. Works for me! If it's warm I don't wear a glove on my tab hand.

I'm like Magnus and put the tab on over the glove I shoot like that when practicing on cool days and it feels pretty normal to me.  I like to be able to have my hand out and not get cold.

x2 on putting mine over my glove. I really can't tell a difference

x3, put the tab over the glove and practice a little with it, it shouldn't effect your shooting very much, or should I say it's easy to get use to.

You can also use the mittens that uncover the fingers when necessary, I wear the tab and when I need to shoot I just take the mitten off the fingers while still wearing the glove which covers about half of the fingers.

Good luck

I only use a tab until the weather cools substantially...then I use a glove over a glove with fingers cut out...I practice a lot with both tabs and gloves

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I have a pair of very thin gloves that I will occasionally use with my tab, but most of the time I keep it in my pocket with a heat pack when it is cold.
