It was a great morning to be in a stand.  I had trouble sleeping last night in anticipation.  Right at shooting light a doe and fawn passed about fifty yards from me in some corn stubble.  Not ten minutes later a three point buck walked by me at eight yards, then hung around waiting for his six point buddies.  They took turns sparring with each other at ten yards from my tree.  After about ten minutes they tired of the game, turned around and headed back where they came from.  Maybe their dad will show up tomorrow!
