I'm seriously thinking about purchasing a new SK and I'm torn between the regular SK and the Grayling Green.  Has anyone shot both?  I'm assuming the regular SK may be a bit heavier due to the Dymondwood, but any feedback comparing the 2 would be appreciated.  Also, I draw 29.5 so feedback on the 60 vs the 64" would be helpful.

Thanks...

I would go with the new green look....retro style for sure!

Also, I too draw about thirty inches, and prefer the 60" bows.

Also, I too draw about thirty inches, and prefer the 60" bows. I have been shooting a 64" longbow for this hunting season, and for me, even though it is just a bit more length, I find it to be a bit of an inconvenience!

If I had a a 28" draw or longer left hand, I would use the 64". Even at my short draw the 64" could pack in really tight groups. Just roll it over when shooting down out of a tree stand. I am a big fan of the SKs, not the fastest recurve on the market, but none of the deer that I shot with them knew that.

I have the 64'' and draw 29.5 and it is smooth drawing and very accurate.Any one with longer than a 28'' draw praises this bow.

I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

I would be looking for an original Grayling Super K, 64 inches...prices have dropped considerably lately...the Grayling bows are the best Bear ever made in my opinion

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Don't know what draw weight you need, but there's a 2012 grayling green in the classifieds right now.  60" 60@28.  I think the guy is asking $300 but there is a chip on one of the quiver mounts.
