Shot my first speed goat with trad gear on a friends ranch between Cheyenne and Laramie Wyoming, God didn't make any better antelope hunting anywhere on earth!
It was windy and rainy, but luckily I was able to use that in my favor. This guy isn't the biggest but it don't matter to me. Caught him bedded down on a steep hill only thirty yards from the top. After a LONG crawl, maybe half a mile, I was able to flank him and come up over the hill top with him facing away from me and the wind in my favor. Got to thirty yards before he got suspicious, at twenty five yards he stood and I shoot. Double lung shot. He fell immediately, got up, ran twenty yards or so down the hill and it was over.
Equipment used: Two tracks ambush recurve, heritage arrows, and muzzy phantom four blades.

Oh, and i'm working on posting a picture. If I cant get it I might need someone to help me out
Now then, get your weapons, your quiver and your bow and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.- Genesis 27:3

Excellent Bryce! Trad antelope is short list enough. Add stalking & you're with only a handful of others. Thanks for your good story.

Congratulations!  Looking forward to seeing a pic.  It takes a lot of patience to shoot antelope that way!
