Does anyone know of a Canadian app for smart phones that are like Time 2 Hunt?
Something that gives better weather, sunrise- set times , solunar tabels.
I was sitting a stand the other nite and a front blew in. I left when trees started falling but it didn't last long. I couldn't find any info about it, even calling weather service everything is recorded.
Thanks in advance.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

In my hands a smart phone becomes a stupid phone, Gun....fortunately I  have some savvy hunter friends...I will check today

I mostly just study Environment Canada's website.  I can download the radar image whenever I'm hunting (most spots I hunt anyway) and all their charts, etc.  I don't rely on what they tell me since their forecasts are more or less useless.  Well, I should add that sometimes their temperature guesses for the next day are close but that's about it.   :)

This year I was hunting mule deer and could see a big rain shower sitting over me on the radar so I cut my hunt short and went home.....in other years I would have probably kept going and got soaked and stuck in mud.  Anyway, just my thoughts.  I'm happy just studying the data and drawing my own guesses on the weather for now.  Rick.

I use the weather network app. Most others are using their data anyway. Not really tailored to hunting, and cant get up to the minute, but it works for general weather and sunrise/set times. Accuweather is pretty good too. I dont know of any hunting specific ones, though. Hope this helps.

I use a dedicated GPS and it has best hunt/fish times, Sun etc...
They pretty much all have it. I am not relying on a phone for GPS work.

Sorry I've been hunting.

I guess we don't have the market to make it worth while. I used the be able to call the weather service and get a pretty detailed description even tho it was only updated by the hour.

Manny, I'm not relying on it for directions. Have pretty good internal GPS for that.  :)

I carry a compass for the rare moment I get turned around. Don't want to worry about batteries or wet electronics.

Rick I have found a local Environment Canada radar source as well. Thanks guys.

My usually reliable sources tell me to look for an app called I Hunter
