Well, I picked up a whip last year from a Tradganger. The darn thing was so quiet that I named her whisper. My son liked the way the bow looked, and shot....so bein the dad that I am, I told him he could have it when he can shoot it.....he was nine at the time, and I figured I would have some years before he grew in to it. So yesterday, my son says..." let's go shootin dad " I ask if he wants to take the Bear out and hs says " no, I can pull Whisper back now...I want to try it " I am glad I have my Morrison, but I will truely miss that bow, but it couldn't be passed on to a better owner.

I can't wait for that day myself. Good memory there!

Very smart to be good to him now.  He'll be picking your nursing home someday!

Nothing better than shooting with your kids....even if it cost you your favorite bow. Plus now you have a reason to get a new favorite bow!!

Ha my son stole my Black Widow SA 111....acually he took it over a year or two ago so I gave it and the extra limbs to him for a graduation present! Doesn't get much better than shooting and hunting with your son.

I know how you feel about passing things along. I am eagerly looking forward to the time my grandson is big enough to pull a bow. So far I have about 7 bows "set aside" for him. Do you have any pics of your son shooting that bow?

Jon, great gift from dad. But be prepared for the future, had to hand over 4 bows, my son, my 2 grandson's, and finally my granddaughter. It brings a smile on one's face to see their pleasure.   :goldtooth:

Bro. I'm sure it was a nice birthday present from you to Jonathan. Except it was your birthday and not his. But that is the way it goes sometimes.
