Well first of all I'd like to apologize for my disappearing act, while everyone here has been nothing but awesome I had to take some time and kind find myself as a bow hunter.

Last night found me sitting a ground blind in a food plot with my grandfather's(still living) 1973 Ben Pearson cougar. The action didn't start until crunch timewhen a fawn and nanny came out. I was going to give them a pass as it was late but I discovered the doe had a busted leg and was having a huge amount of trouble just walking. She came in to 6 yards where I promptly shot over her back then she jumps back to 25yd,I start telling myself pick a spot, calm down, smooth release and head down.I hear the smack and she takes off.

I get out find my missed arrow and find blood I brought my brother, who just got back from overseas and this is his first deer season ever abd my German Shepard lol that dog runs right to it in this over grown field and the hollering commenced. I actually got a pic of my grand dad, me, bow and deer..

By the way what kind of penetration and damaged did you get with the Treeshark beside what we see?

I didn't retrieve organs as it was in the back yard.. but it busted through near and stuck off shoulder... these are bad heads the it in the kme and it's good to go.. must have demolished heart as she only ran maybe 40 yards... but on an early season nga doe is probably only 6-8 inches.

The impressive thing about that wound channel is it was ground level no incline, I've seen huge holes with inclines but this was flat and still left a wound like this
