I am trying to foot some  black Easton axis 400s as well as 340s.  I have seen 1916 2016 2018 2020 for 400s.  Which one is the best.  Also any experience with the 340s as well.  Thanks Will

I use 2016's for 340 Beman Classics.  I would bet the Axis is 2016 or 2018.

Will...I use 1914 X7 Eclipse shafts to foot my black axis 340s.  They fit perfect and I like the fact that they are black so they match the axis shaft and you can hardly tell they are footed.  Sorry can't help on the 400s. Good luck

Most of the Beman's I've footed took 2018's well.  I haven't tried teh Easton Axis but it is afully close.  I would try 2018's on the 400's.  Not sure about the 340's.  Maybe 2016?

you gonna need a foot on there when you shoot thru that ragged cotton target you got and hit that plywood..     :goldtooth:   I did it about an hour ago at my house..

2020 works for both 400 and 340. snug on the 340 and slightly loose on the 400 but nothing the glue doesn't take care of.

2018 work for 300.

this is for black shafts. camo shafts will be different again.

Thanks Clint.  Makes it a lot easier to know for sure.
