Looking for someone that will build me some strings for a couple recurves and longbows - I would like to experiment wiht skinny strings but dont want to get too crazy with it.  I also would like the serving built up to fit GT nocks.  Any recommendations for someone that makes high quality strings appreciated.
Everything has a price - the more we accept, the more the cost

Both of the above mentioned makers will make you a great string.  Pierre makes a great string.

A.S./Allen's customer service and turn around  is second to none, he's become my go-to.  Lefties has my vote.

There are several others like Champion custom bowstrings and Oliver Stacy that are highly regarded.

I've used Oliver Stacy and SBD strings and both are top notch. Just got two from Josh (Oliver Stacy) and they were exactly what I ordered. Lots of color combinations and string material options. The strings from both makers always fit the nock I ask for.

My recommendation is YOU.  For about a 40 dollar start up fee considering you take advantage of the many free string jig plans you could make your own. I did and it sure is easy once you get the nack for it I haven't bought a sting in over 10 years.   Try it, once you get it its like tying your shoe laces.

I like that Rick guy. but he's not a sponser here so I can't use his full name. PM me and I'll tell ya. But what I can say is I've used alot of the different strings some made by names mentioned. I like my current strings best. No stretch and they are lasting for-ever

SBD has made me 3 great strings. I made a note on the form that I shot classic nocks and they fit perfectly on the serving. Also have heard great things about the other string makers mentioned.
