It all started with a trade, imagine that!  I traded for a LH LOST CREEK LIFE ENDER longbow it is 60" and 51#@29", a little on the light side for me but hey it was a good trade!
Here are a few pics of it:

When I strung it up and shot it, I was completely in awe of its performance...It shot varied arrows at extremely high speeds and delivered them with a punch!  It shot exactly where I was looking even as I changed arrows and arrow weight!  This smooth drawing bow was exceptional in performance, not to mention it's looks..

Well my 13 year old son, Alex, was shooting with me that night and of course these words came out of his mouth,"Dad, I got to have one of those!"

It was about time for him to get a new bow, he is shooting 56" Javaman bow and he is now 5' 10" tall with long arms, so I searched google for Lost Creek bows and found Chad Francis' number.

I first made contact with Chad on Aug 6th, We agreed on bow woods, weight and price on August 9th and I sent him my deposit!  And now the wait begins

Well today on Sept 5th, my mail lady rang my door bell and guess what????

So I open that double boxed box up and look what was insided...

And I promised not to be the one who shoots the first arrow through it, Man I wish school would hurry up and get out!!!

As you can see, Chad did a fabulous job on Alex's new bow.  It is 60" 52#@28".  Chad really met our expectations and listened to what I wanted and delivered SPOT ON!

One of the benefits of this whole experience has been working with Chad...Not only did I meet a new bowyer but I now have a new friend who happens to build quality bows(and shoots BIG IOWA whitetails)

I just really want to say thanks to Chad for a great and quick experience!  Lost Creek bows rock!

NICE!  You gotta tell us how your boy does with it!  I just picked up one from the classifieds as well, to give to my father for his birthday.  AMAZING quality and performance.

The 60" Life Ender is one heck of a bow, I'm sure he's gonna be happier than a pig in...well, you know.

Well Alex finally got up, had his breakfast and said those magic words..

"Dad, can we shoot?"  I said, "Heck yes!" So we grabbed our bows and his new arrows I had built just for this occasion and headed to our backyard 17 yard range...

I had set the nock point the night before and was hoping it was dead on.  (I had promised Alex he would get the first arrow out of this bow!)

Well the moment of truth was at hand...
He is stepping up quite a bit in weight, so I was a little nervous for him, but as usual he draws his new bow back with full confidence...

Alex let the first arrow loose..

and he likes the results!!!

and the second arrow!!!

He turned to me and said with a big smile on his face..."I think I'll call it "The Assassin"! It is so quiet and deadly."

I think he loves his new bow, I pray God blesses us with many more days shooting and hunting together with our Lost Creek Bows...

Wohoo!

Barry it looks like he's been shooting it for months already based on those two shots.

Alex's form looks good and it paid off in his shooting accuracy.

Good on him and good on you too dad!!

Thanks for sharing!

Now, both of you....go assassinate something!!
