Been shooting 2 blade deltas this year but thinking on switching to the 4 blade.I cant get the 4 blade as sharp as i would like.thinking if i switch to the magnus 1 with the removaable bleeders would be a option.my question is will there be a big difference in tuning issues since im tuned to the deltas already ,could i just practice without the bleeder and put in just 4 hunting and are the magnus as sturdy as the deltas?

Matt, I'd shoot arrows with the heads you plan on using to make sure they fly true.  No reason to chance having an errant flyer miss your mark.  Good luck!

Well, if you change from the Delats to Magnus I, you will have to shoot each one to make sure it is mounted staright. The magnus is a little wider and they have to be on right or will plane on you. I have and do shoot the magnus for practice and put the bleeders in just for hunting. No difference in flight for me. That said I have just switched to the 2 blade version of any of these. I mix 'em up. I shoot Deltas, Magnus, Ace, No Mercy. Mounted properly They all shoot great for me.

Easier to sharpen the magnus by removing the bleeder. Other than that basicly the same head and both are awesome heads. I have shot 2 and 4 blade magnus 1 for last 10 years. Sometimes the slot will whistle if you shoot 4 blades with bleeders out. If plan to hunt that way coat some glue in the slot and all is good.

thanks every one i think im going to get some magnus 4 and try them just hope i can use the same set up i heard its hard to set the bleeders in though.

I carried delta 4 blades and magnus1 4 blades in the same quiver last year. I couldn't see any difference in the two.

thanks terry that helped i was trying to keep the file more horz to the main blade like i do 4 my 2 blades.brushwolf think im going to carry both since i have them coming.did you get anything with either head any dif in bloodtrail

Don't mean to answer for Brush....but the Mag 1 w bleeders shot in the same place would make a bigger hole ....and if you get two holes, there should be a little more blood since the main blade and bleeder on the Mag 1 are bigger.
