Which of these do you guys prefer?

Asbell hands down. Best all around hunting quiver I have tried and I'm always trying quivers.

That is a question that I am perfectly suited to answer.

I used a bow quiver for years, but when I switched to lighter Shrew bows, I didn't like the feel. So I tried HARD to like the Catquiver. I used it for 3 seasons. It was well made, and it worked pretty well. I didn't like 2 things about it....it was almost impossible for me to get an arrow back into it, and it wouldn't hold a mix of arrows well (like 4 broadheads and a Judo). i know that guys put a block of foam in the CQ to hold shorter arrows, but I never liked it.

So about 11-12 years ago I bumped into Fred's table at the Kalamazoo show. He had the first of his GFA quivers. Grey wool, your choice of gripper, small or large (for carbons thru cedars)I bought 2. One for my son, and one for me. I have never used anything since, and I have made no modification to the original design. We are still using the original ones we bought, and we hunt HARD.

It is adjustable to a point that allows you to wear it in an infinite amount of positions on your body, depending on your circumstance.

The finest way to tote your arrows available, IMHO.

I personally like the mini cat better, I may have not compared apples to apples since I made my own gfa quiver with a delta quiver and a adjustable strap as it looks like that's basicly what it is, I do have one arrow position raised with a pc of minicell foam to allow a judo ... I just have a easier time with the mini... plus I can strap the mini to the side of a pack and use it that way as well

Thanks guys. I'm going to test an EFA and a Big Jim's on my bow this week, and if I don't like the way they make my Widow feel I'll go with the GFA.

I have had both and prefer mini cat quiver.
I like the fletching protection and the fact you can remove an arrow with one hand while its still slung on your back

GFA for me.       Liked my original so much, I picked up another one at Denton Hill. Have one setup for each bow now.

Never uesd a Catquiver but really like the GFA

I've had both through trades here on Trad Gang.  The mini-cat went away but the GFA is still here.  

I just couldn't get use to getting arrows in and out of the mini-cat and although it does protect the fletching, I was always messing them up while getting arrows in and out.

The quest for the perfect quiver never ends.

Owned all sizes of cat quivers. Been using the GFA for about 4 years. Will stay with it.
