Thanks typical2.  It's a really nice little bow that  I'm very proud to own.

Built in 1976, the white belly has mellowed to a very pale yellow.  This bow certainly has one hell of an old-school look.  I love it.

Lucky it's not heavier.I saw it on the auction site,I would have gave you a run for that one if it was 55#+

Peter, that turkey is about to run off with your bow and arrow.  You don't want to become the target of a riled up bird    :jumper:

Glad you guys enjoyed the photo of "Chickadee".  Nick, I got lucky on that one as you know.  Another TG member (Ralphie) purchased the bow off the auction from a guy in NJ of all places.  Who knows how long that bow was 25 away from me.  Ralph was torn between shooting the bow and putting up on the rack as a collector's piece.  Since he isn't a collector he decided to let it go.

When I saw it I just had to have it.  Glad I bought it too.  It's my go to bow and I shoot it almost daily.  I'm in the process of ordering some new spruce arrows for it, my first foray into the world of wood shafts.  John Lee told me that he built a very similar bow for Howard back in 1974.  Pretty cool.
