I would also vote simmons.  They are tough and cut good holes plus they look gnarly.  I have killed deer with the landsharks and interceptors and will be shooting tree sharks this year.

Harvested many a deer with Snuffers great head. Now that I am much older and shoot lighter bows ( 45#) I have gone to 2bd Deltas and Eskimos. Still get pass throughs and good blood trails.

Just sharpened so the hair POPS off your arm.

I think I will go with the time tested and proven zwickey eskimo's. With this bow, all my shots will be from the ground using my ghillie. Thanks for all the suggestions. I can definately see some sharks in the future, but I know that 150-160 grain heads shoot lights out from this bow.

Good news. These days, as opposed to the 1970's (and before) there are LOTS of broadheads that are built well, have true weights, tune terrific, and will keep a game-killing edge.

It was more of a dice roll 4 decades ago than it is these days.

I'm a fan of 2-blades though. Whether hunting with 46-50 pound recurves or 70 pound bows of a different color.

Wow, here is a loaded question...LOL Everyone will have different opinions, but for me, if you go 3-blade I say VPA. If you go 2-blade then I say Simmons Sharks.

I find it funny about light weight bows and 2 blade heads and such. If you are hunting deer they are relatively thinned skinned and the ribs are not really a problem. I have killed a few deer when I had shoulder surgery and was shooting a 42# widow at 28.5"s and a 160 grain big old 3 blade snuffer and 8 gpp. Got holes out both side on 2 big does and a coyote from end to end one year. Make sure it is sharp, keep the shots 20 yards and in and stay off the shoulder and you will be fine with most any scray sharp head! Shawn

For whitetails....the actually selected choice will most likely suffice.... The issue is exacerbated and may likely stem from the actual numerous BH's available to choose from, thus, possibly cluttering one's mind.

One's own established confidence will dictate and govern future selections.

Friend, you may be the most verbally articulate person on the web today. However, I do agree with what you said. There are basically to many great broadheads on the market today and the ability to choose the "one best" for any given bow is hypothetical in nature. Shot placement will always be the determining factor in speed of recovery. Thanks for you very wise comments.
