Been warming up most of the summer, using full length Easton 400 game getters and 2 blade Zwickey 160 grain Eskimo's.  Setup works great and will not change for now; Sept 5th is opening day.  Question is, I have some full length Easton axis 500's with 75 grain inserts that fly great in my 45 pound Sage with 100 grain heads.  Think I could take a couple inches off one and get good results with maybe a 100 grain head with my 50 pound Griz?

Depends what your draw is but if it is 28"s than a 29" .500 spine with 175-200 graisn up front should fly well out of that Grizz. Shawn

thanks, I'm just shy of 28 so I will cut one down and refletch, think I will go with 5 inch instead of the 4 inch stock ones.  That's a lot of feather on that little shaft but I like those big rudders back there. Will see how it goes.  Going to stick with the big Al shafts for hunting this year though.
