How would it work on a Widow PSA?

Had one didn't really care for it. It was doing what it is supposed to do but after trying the Selway slide on there is no turning back

Not on a Black widow but on a Martin Hatfield

I loved mine. Sold it to try a backquiver for a while, but it's hard to go wrong with anything from Big Jim. Quality product.

I just did this last month...Yes the Big Jim's strap on quiver does work on black widow recurves. I had the same question. I really liked the simplicity and compactness of the design. It has a nice clean appearance without and hardware. and it looked like it would be quiet. and took a chance and purchased the big jims quiver. And yes it fits. It's not easy to put on the first time but I have had it on an off several times now and its a pretty good fit. It is quiet, it never moves, it looks sharp. The arrows ride in the right location. I am particular and have to keep my quiver strapped the the thick part of the limb just above the limb bolts so it's extra tight getting it on there the first time. On your PSA i would think the quiver will really hold the arrows tight. My bow is a
PCH with a slightly shorter riser than you bow. Spreading the quiver on your PSA should really do a nice job.

I didn't want to use one of those kickback quivers. This set up puts the arrows where they ride nice and you can lean the bow against a tree without the nock end of the arrow hitting the ground.

I shoot belly mount curves, not a widow but my own home brew curves, and mine works great. Tried another brand can't remember the name but couldn't keep it from sliding around on my skinny 1.5" limbs. Big Jim's does not budge once strapped in place and is way quiet.

It's not that they're hard to remove from your bow, but being a two-piece quiver it ain't easy to take off and still keep everything "together". If you're wanting to remove the quiver while on stand, you should try a one-piece bow quiver. Personally, I prefer to keep my quiver on my bow at all times, with broadheads mounted, and I never take it off. I've gotten used to bow quivers over the years and have learned to like them on my bow.

Thanks. I may just have to try it for myself and see. Problem is I'm already tuned pretty well bare bow and I'm scared adding the quiver will change the tune.

I bought one his side quivers and his bow mounted quiver. I've been practicing with the side quiver and like it a lot. That's an option if you don't want your quiver on your bow. I don't know how it would work in a tree stand?

Kyle I have one of big Jim's quivers if you want to try it. Hate I had to leave yesterday or you could have tried it and the efa.

I'll have to come and check out both of them one day the week. I need to buy one soon, but I hate to without seeing it in person.

Several folks show up at our monthly trad & prim shoot have them, and normally shoot with them attached and full of arrows. Never seen one move or an arrow fall out. They are quite popular in this neck of the woods.

I use a four arrow Big Jim strap-on on one of my bows. Good solid product.I don't notice much difference in shooting accurately with or without it. I'm probably not smart enough to notice. But removing any kind of trad bow quiver that I have seen would be a chore in a tree, I would think.If you like a bow quiver, then I would just shoot with it on at all times or otherwise use a non-bow mounted one and carry it up, then hang it.
