I need some advice on what limbs i should purchase.  I have read some people say that the TT's(wood/glass) are better the Dorado limbs.  If someone has any experience with these two different limbs and would be willing to share some, i would love to hear it.

Daniel

I am purchasing a #50 limb

if you get the ones rated for a 17' riser in shorts they tend to stack just like the stock limbs for me

I like the medium limbs that are rated for the 19" riser makes the bow 62" and a much smoother draw for me close to 30" draw

You can either use your stock limb bushings for the new limbs or order a kit when you buy the new limbs
I love Bow Hunting

Daniel, I just recently got bit by the ILF bug.
I have no experience with the Dorado but give high remarks for the TT Black Max recurve limbs and the Longbow limbs. They shoot just as well or better than any bow I have owned. Ive used them on my two Dryad risers. Beware!! poundage may vary depending in the length of riser your using and the angle of the limb pockets. My 45 pound longbow limbs come in around the high 50's.
Do you math or call an expert.

thank you for the replies.  Does anyone else have any experience or comments for me?

Would you notice a big difference between 60" and 62" while hunting?

The longer limbs would be just a little smoother.  Your draw length really would be the criteria for which length to choose.  Me, I like the longer ones.
I find the older I get, the less I used to know!

well i will be using them for a hunting scenario.  I draw right at 29.  I like the convenience of shorter limbs as far as you can get into more tight spots and still get a shot off, i just didn't know if there would be a huge difference in the two.

I don't notice a difference going from 60" to 62". It's only an inch on each end of the bow.
I have a 29" draw and much prefer the mediums over shorts. I will agree that the Blackmax limbs are well above their price tag in performance.
Also, they do perform better than the stock Dorado limbs. I have no scientific data but they make a noticeable improvement to me.
Do or do not ... there is no "try"
