Anyone ever tried the Grizzly Stick Single Bevel sharpener from 3 rivers?  I've got some Zwickey No Mercy heads I'm wanting to sharpen and can't quite get the as sharp as I like!  I've been looking at this sharpener but don't want to invest 30 bucks if it won't get em hair poping sharp.

I haven't tried that particular one but my experience with that type is that they are ok for touching up an edge but not good for initial sharpening. I would suggest the abrasive/polishing wheel kits for an 8" bench grinder. If you have a bench grinder the wheels and polishing compound are close to the price of the sharpener you're looking at. They last a long time too - been using mine three years.

I have it. I have tuskers that KME sharpened. After I used them, I tried to get them sharp again w/ the single bevel sharpener. Didn't work for me......
