I am trying to fix a warped lower limb on a pearson renigade. the only real question i have is, what direction do i twist if when i draw the bow and let down the string is left of center on the lower limb.

do i twist it right?

Twist it the opposite way. Over correct.

look down the string with the bow strung and see what way it's pointing, then twist back the way it needs to go to be straight.   I use just my hands and have had no problem getting twists out.

Must ask how did it get twisted?  Did ya leave it in the corner for ever?  Stringing without a stringer or using the step through method?  gotta figure out why it happened in the first place so it doesnt happen again.....

If I understand your question it sounds like you need to twist it back to the right.(with the bow tip pointing down).
If the above advice from the other guy's doesn't work it may have been twisted for sometime, try this.First you need a friend to help you.Run hot water over the curve of the bow limb or where you can see the twist start for a 1 min.or so.Twist the limb the direction it needs to go.As you are holding it under the hot water have your friend turn off the hot water and turn on the cold water.Again a 1 min. or so or until the limb is cool again. Then check it again. It may take a time or two to get it back to center.Good luck.
