Opening day for the early season starts in 3 weeks and I'm raring to go. Been shooting the Savannah daily and got her pretty well tuned. Gonna try these Steel Force Titanium left bevel 145gr heads giving me an arrow weight of 461gr. Still looking to tag that first ever!     :bigsmyl:

15 days here! I been seeing enough deer and elk that I think my brain has already shut down for the hunt.

Its odd listening to you guys up north already talking about hunting soon.It is still so hot here deer season seems a year away,lol.Good luck with your new setup and if ya get one take some pics for us.

We are still 6-7 weeks out. I just started with my trad so I am not good enough to use it to hunt but I have my other bows tuned and ready.

It's so darn hot out even in Sept I have to carry 2-3 quarts of water for the day.

It can be pretty warm here for the early season but, I like to get out before light and hope to catch one moving back to its bedding area. The late season during the rut is really the best time to be out.

Good luck to you.  Ours isn't until October and I still wish they'd move it forward a month.

Doing my daily shooting and I shot this group at about 15yds. Tightest group I've ever shot! The Savannah will definitely do her part if only I can do mine.
