Love the pics of wives and kids involved in our sport.  Keep it up guys.  I wish my wife wanted to hunt.

It all started here, about 10 years ago.

Mary at Michigan Traditional Bowhunters shoot in Grayling, MI:

Mary hunting this past fall for whitetails. Double bull blind, December 2013, 1.5 feet of snow on the ground.

Not to be out done, Morgan's 21 months behind Mary in age, but every bit as tenacious and talented with her bow:

I like to keep them outfitted with top notch stuff that fits them:

Mary's refinished 1959 Kodiak that she'll shoot for the first time tonight (leather wrap and rests have been added). By this fall, she'll graduate to a Super Shrew Little Favorite recurve:

Thanks skitch, I'm kinda dumb on how to get there.  Another example of us helping out each other.

There have been a number of young ladies in the shop who have learned to shoot a bow and ended up shooting pretty well. It's always a pleasure to watch how fast they learn. The photos that I'm posting now are of a young lady who has just completed her first hickory bow, 3 cane arrows, and a leather quiver. I gave her some advise along the way, but she did all of the work herself. Now she can be proud that she has actually built a bow, and arrows, and a quiver. A feat that not many people ever do. That's pretty good for a young lady to accomplish as a high school project. My hat is off to you Emily.
