Can any riser be converted to ILF, and can you put LB limbs on a recurve riser?

wtpops

a human can do any thing it puts its mind to but some times things that come out of the human mind should be considered a waste of time.

Some risers are easy to convert some should be left alone. Some bowyers make recurves that can interchange limbs (Recurve/longbow)some the limb pocket angles are not suited for longbow limbs

Disclaimer: i am not a bowyer and by no means an expert but the above is what i have learned over the years.

Is there a consistent limb pocket angle variable, or does it vary by riser? In other words, could you say as long as the limb pockets are between x degree and x degree, it will work.

That's a great question for a bowyer-- maybe Bob Morrison will show up and answer it for you.

Thanks guys. I'm going to a shoot this weekend where there's a couple guys who've made warfs, so hopefully ill get the chance to pick their brains a little.
