So I have had this PSE impala 50# for the last 10 years now. This is still my favorite bow. After the first year of owning it, I sanded that ugly finish off of the riser and put a nice walnut stain on it. I still shoot it daily. Flemish twist with brush buttons.
I read tons of reviews of how many people hated this bow. But I love it. I haven't had a single problem. I have seen that the name impala is now with ragim. Was it always? Did I get lucky and got an impala actually made by PSE?
What ever the reason, for the 1000 bad reviews, there is at least one great review from me.
anybody else have that "underdog" bow?

The key is likely the fact that you have had it for 10 years...how old do you think it was when you bought it?

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

the bow is made by Ragim for PSE as where about all of the trad bows for years. that doesn't mean they are bad bows.
have had several of them over the years { impala} & had good luck with them.

I was just wondering if anybody else has a bow they love but everybody else hates lol.
Like I said, I think I got lucky with this one

All my bows are of good reputation.  Except for my ragim impala. Poor quality with sharp string grooves.  I do owe it for getting me started.  I think it will be getting a bow fishing reel in that stablizer bushing.
