I feel very fortunate to have acquired a used Waldrop Pacseat.  I'm looking for photos that show the Pacseat being used as not only a seat but also as a pack frame.
I routinely need to carry gear with me on my back.  I'm looking for ideas for attaching other gear to this incredible seat.

Thanks
Ken Adkins

I will be watching this thread as my Pac Seat will be here in a week or so.

I've used some bungee cords to attach stuff-like my ghillie suit or a jacket.  I haven't really needed it to haul any really heavy stuff yet.

Just ordered a Waldrop PAC seat myself. Should get it two weeks.  I would enjoy seeing some tips and techniques also. .

I added a couple of pieces of split aluminum pipe for hanging my PAC . I just hang it by the straps. It lifts off easily.
Only other mod is the tennis balls on the front feet.

I don't have photos of it, but I undo my pack straps, run them between the back rest part (see above photo) and re-attach them. Although the above idea once initially done is quicker and quieter probably.

+1 on the tennis balls too. A must on softer ground.

I also use mine to drag deer. With the chest and hip straps dispersing the weight it makes it easy. (almost)   :D

Thanks for those photos macbow!  I've been trying to figure out a way to carry my backpack with that seat ever since I got it.  Did you just screw the pieces to the seat?

macbow

I think I screwed them with self tapping screws. But heavy tie wraps would do the job.
PVC pipe would probably be strong enough.

With one simple strap my backpack is safely carried.

I stick other stuff in there as well.

I dont have pics with it loaded on my back.  I know Ron W. and Whip have loaded theirs up with packs and such, perhaps they'll be along?

Here's mine loaded up.  It is actually a Blacks Creek Turkey Vest that I attached to the seat.  It carries my ghillie suit, three decoys, and all the misc. stuff that I need like calls, knife, etc, etc.

Where do you buy one of these seats? I haven't seen them before they look great and comfortable.

Are these seats still available anywhere?

I think the only way to buy one is to get it directly from Dave Waldrop.  I don't think anyone else sells them anymore, and I couldn't find a website.  But I did find some contact info - I would assume it is still current?
