I read this quote today, and it really spoke to me. It seems to much of the time I hear others or myself complain about things that aren't really all that important. I have a job, a roof over my head, plenty of food to eat, pretty healthy for the most part, and enough money left over after the bills are paid to set a little aside for Trad archery. Yes I would say I am truly blessed, the Lord has been good to me. No complaints
(Rom. 10:13)

My camp is named Too Blessed to be Stressed.

I had lunch with one of my sons yesterday and we were reliving days gone by.  We laughed until it hurt.   I thought of how true that saying was.  Fact is we are all blessed!

Amen to that soap creek.. The ringtone on my cell plays "Lucky man" by Montgomery Gentry. It is a reminder to me everyday of God's goodness.

I regularly tell folks that if I were any more blessed I'd have to take something for it.

If the world knew just how I've been taken care of especially the past 3 years they would share in the "awe" of it.

I think that each person born in this great country should understand just how magnificent we have it.

Even our poor are rich beyond comparison when you see poverty elsewhere.

Thanks for bringing it to the forefront of our thoughts.

God bless,Mudd

I believe Chris Kristofferson did a song once that said Why Me Lord, What have I ever done, to deserve even one, of the blessings I've known?

I often think on that and it tells me , Nothing. That is why it is so wonderful. The great mystery of all time is this, Why did God love me when I was un-loveable and un-Godley? Again eyes have not seen, neither ear heard the things that God has prepared for them that love Him and that are called according to (His purpose). But his spirit has revealed them unto us. Yea , the deep things of God.
Many of you evidently know what that purpose is and when you see it it is a wonderful thing. God simply wants companionship with people that are like minded to Him. And here is what is so good. He will change our hearts and minds so that we become what He wants. God made a conversion kit and called him Jesus.

What a wonderful Saviour!!!!!!

God bless you all and great thread and posts.

I, too, am truly blessed!  It is way too easy to get all caught up in the day, or the moment, to realize how blessed we are.

Thanks for the reminder!

Made it thru two wars, one overseas and the other here in the states (retire officer). I have a great wife of 42 years, one son and daughter in law and five of the best grandkids a grandpa could ever ask for and even better they are all true Christians.

I to am truly a Blessed man.

Just to live in the USA we are blessed.

If you can appreciate the simple pleasures in life you will always be happy, because they are the things that really matter most in life.

I saw a documentary on the famine in Somalia a long time ago. A women with twin babies had to decide which to breast feed and which to let starve, since she couldn't feed both. Now that is a tragedy and a big problem.

Yes we have no real problems here in the USA, in most of our lives.

I couldn't agree more - I am blessed! Sometimes I wander off and forget that fact - but even then I'm still blessed!

Thanks for the reminder!

Gil, that bible passage is on my bow.  It's a wonderful, and at the same time humbling, to think of it when I am sitting in a stand in the predawn.  QUIET time is good for counting a man's blessings.

Reminds me of times I sat in a double stand with my sons ........  they thought we were just hunting!
