If you like to film you own hunts, here is a quick DIY tutorial on making a solid camera mount. It also contains a little info on a great little waterproof camera that I use often to film hunts.

For those that would like to see the mount in action, here is a hunt that was filmed last year with this camera/bracket combo. There are others on my Youtube channel.

Jerry, which model camera are you using? How does it work at night with a light on gators?

Thanks,
Benjy

My daughter drew a SC Gator tag this year. It will be her first! I can hardly wait to take her!!!

That's a really cool idea, Jerry!

Thanks for sharing it with everyone.

In this video and for the bow camera mount I use the Kodak Playsport but it is not my #1 camera. My go to camera, especially in low light conditions and when I need high quality video is the Sony HDR-160. The Sony cameras that contain the Exmor image sensor will capture quality video up to 30 minutes before other cameras in the low light of morning and right at dark.  There simply is not another camera I would ever use.

They can be had for $250-$400.
I shoot all my hunts with it.
