Somebody was listening! Unpacked my box and immediately noticed some changes from Nano 1. First was my pocket book. This bow was about 1/3 cheaper than original.Being 100% carbon, i believe it's also the only longbow constructed like this.

Most obvious was the finish. It seems ABS past glossy finish was dumped to a proprietary camo finish similar to a realtree. I love it . It is really durable.

Although i do not always use a berger button on my hunting bows, it sure is easy to screw one in, adjust to your arrow and your tuned!. I later take that lateral measurement and build out my rug rest to that exact distance. Bergers are growing on me but ABS allows you to use either which is nice.

The grip has some slight modification and it's a torque free "olympic " style grip. Its rock solid and rightfully so since it probably has a ton of cad work behind it from Win and Win possibly.

Limbs are narrow! this bow is quick. i think it's 15-20 faster than original. I couldnt take it any longer and went to compound shop and shot through chrono.. 64# @ 28.5"  606 grain   198 to 209fps was my readings.

There is a tremendous amount of string tension notably from stringing the first time. It stretched and stretched my flemish till i got it right. These limbs are heavily preloaded at initial draw which indeed gives you speed and a sweet spot at your force curve. To me , it's a different bow altogether from first.

I cant explain it but its something to this carbon /foam limb technology and laminated carbon riser stuff.. This bow is Tight..very very accurate ....i cant prove it but i just shoot this bow extremely well.. I wish Batman lived 10 miles closer or i would show him.

going pig huntin this weekend so maybe i will bloody it.. I believe ABS listened and produced on this one.

I've only handled the new riser--in fact bought a new LH riser a couple weeks ago, but am using it on original ABS limbs (nothing to frown on in their original iteration, to say the least). And I agree: the grip is an improvement. The finish too is closer to a matte than the glossier early version. I love the steady improvements by ABS to what was already the Ducati of longbows. That the price dropped by a third is almost unheard of.

additional photos...comes with a nice takedown case, 3 pin limb system

Bottom limb tip squared off for identification.

This grip has that tacky feeling like a Holt grip. i like it for humidity in south.

These have to be shot to fully appreciate them. Smoooooooth, accurate, amazingly light, utterly without handshock. They propel heavy arrows effortlessly--well, almost. Designed for the famous Sitka and Grizzlys--and the big game those arrows are weighted for. If you haven't shot one of these and get the opportunity, don't pass it up. Your opinion about what's possible with a modern longbow will change. ABS bows are slick.

I would really like to o wn this bow at one point.I have a concern.would this specific bow deform if left forgotten in the
Car under the South sun?or exposed under direct sunlight say in a dessert environment?

I've had my Nano for three years now and Storm (my bow) has been threw things a bow should never go threw including being left in a truck setting on the dock in San Deago for a week and a half waiting to be boarded on a ship for Hawii for a five day boat ride. And that is just some of what she has been threw. These bows are tough!

And these bows have been hauled all over Africa, Alaska, S. America--all kinds of extreme conditions. Nothing delicate about these, gentlemen.

Very Good report. It must be good if joey shot that group with it. DB

I just picked up a QN2 in a trade... 62", 64# at my draw, grip is a comfortable low grip... Added a SBD string, Sta-Jac arrow holder, and a Selway slip-on 5-arrow... Shoots great, and is quick and quiet! Faster then my go to longbow, and probably quicker then my go to recurve... I'm pretty sure this bow would do anything you ask of it... Great hunting rig, and if you're into targets the ability to drop to extremely low arrow weights with a lifetime warranty would be very attractive!!! Anyway, just thought I'd share...
