I have one and have another one on the way and would like to see more pics....

Post up pics of this man's works or art!

Here is my current Tembo, 68" backset 58@28 with dark stained Myrtle riser and brown glass:

A few of mine. The only bow I am shooting right now. This is just after getting it back from Nate Steen. He did a refinish and check up on her.

Beautiful bows guys.  We are lucky to have these fine examples of Mr. Schulz's art in hand.

John Schulz/American LongBow, Trophy Hunter

"Young Eagle" - 64", 46@28
4 lams of bamboo under brown glass back and belly
Cocobolo riser

This is a gorgeous bow.  John truly was a master of his craft.  His attention to detail is as good as it gets.  Apparently the limbs on this bow were tapered unusually narrow.  It has VERY small tips as well.  I was fortunate enough to purchase this bow that was originally built for Bob Wesley, Jr., son of famous archer Bob Wesley, for whom the Howard Hill Archery "Wesley Special" is named.

I would love to own more Schulz bows, but I have a hard time finding the lighter weights that I shoot.

"The Favorite" Traded this one for a Pete George Timberline. Pete was taught by John.

My American Longbow Trophy Hunter. 68", Bamboo under brown glass with a Myrtle Riser. Draw weight? Well, it's a bit stout! But man will it fling a 900 grain arrow!

mikebiz

A BIT STOUT!!!  Looks like we have one of the lightest and one of the heaviest Schulz's posted here already.

Man I would love to know what it's like to pull one of these beasts.  Kinda like how I wish I was 6'5" and 250# just for one day   ;)    I don't know how you guys draw bows in this weight class.  More power to ya.  Literally.

I'm lovin' this thread.  I had bought a back quiver off John in the 90's.  Seriously wishing I had bought a bow from him during that time as well.
